Recorder & Woodwind Festival:
Thursday 11th March — Saturday 13th March 2010
General Festival:
Thursday 25th March to Saturday 27th March 2010
The opening session for Recorders will commence at 9.15am on Thursday 11th March 2010 and will take place in St George’s United Reformed Church in Morpeth. The remainder of daytime competitions will take place on weekdays between 9.15am & 4.30pm either at St George’s URC except for the School Choir competitions which will be held at Newbiggin Sports & Community Centre on Thursday 25th March from 9.30am to approx 3.00pm.
Also on Thursday 25th March at 6.00pm Band, Folk & Orchestra classes take place at Chantry Middle School, Mitford Road, Morpeth.
On Friday 26th, the Evening session will consist entirely of Open Piano & Vocal Classes and will be run in a Concert style.
The Closing Concert featuring some of the Prizewinners will be held at 6.00pm on Saturday 27th March 2010 at St George’s United Reformed Church.
Brass Festival Weekend:
24th & 25th April 2010
The individual & ensemble competions on Saturday 24th April 2010 will take place at St George’s United Reformed Church, Morpeth commencing at 9.30am
The Brass Band competitions on Sunday 25th April 2010 will once again take place in the Sports Hall at Newbiggin Sports & Community Centre.
Closing Dates for Entries in the Brass Festival Weekend:

All Entries are to be sent, with a stamped self-addressed envelope (See Rule 2/5), to:

The stamped, addressed envelope is necessary in order that entrants receive a receipt for entries and a copy of the appropriate competition Schedule. These will be sent out in early February 2010 (early March 2010 for Brass Festival).
Competitors are reminded that they must conform to all Rules of the Festival competitions.
