Recorder & Woodwind Festival:
Thursday 15th March — Saturday 17th March 2012
General Festival:
Wednesday 28th March — Saturday 31st March 2012
The opening session for Recorders will commence at 9.30am on Thursday 15th March 2012 and will take place in St George’s United Reformed Church in Morpeth. The remainder of daytime competitions will take place on weekdays between 9.30am & 4.30pm. Evening sessions normally take place between 6.30pm & 9.00pm
Venues will be at St George’s URC or in the case of the School Choir competitions these will be held at Newbiggin Sports & Community Centre from 9.30am to approx 3.00pm. In addition some band classes may be held at Chantry School on an evening.
The Closing Concert featuring some of the Prizewinners is likely to be held at 6.00pm on Sunday 31st March at St George’s United Reformed Church.
Full details will be published in February 2012 and competitors will be advised also in early February of precise dates and times of classes and location of venues.
Competitors are reminded that they must conform to all Rules of the Festival competitions.
